35-Year-Old Man Killed, 2 Injured in Angelus Oaks Car Accident on Highway 38 near Forest Road 1N86

Angelus Oaks, California (June 26, 2020) – A 35-year-old man was killed in a head-on car crash that left two others injured on Wednesday afternoon in Angelus Oaks, authorities said.
The deadly crash occurred at around 1:10 p.m., on June 24, on Highway 38, west of Forest Road 1N86 at mile marker 24.77.
A 35-year-old man from Los Angeles was driving a 2016 Hyundai Veloster westbound on Highway 38. At the same time, a 2014 Toyota Rav-4, driven by a 23-year-old female, was traveling eastbound Highway 38 west of Forest Road 1N86, the police said.
As per the authorities’ report, the Hyundai Veloster was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes at a high rate of speed and unfortunately crashed head-on into the Toyota.

The Hyundai driver succumbed to his injuries at the scene.
The Toyota driver sustained moderate injuries while her 16-year-old female passenger from Murrieta’s city sustained minor injuries. They were both transported to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
