Andrew Gaudian ID’d as Bicyclist Seriously Injured in Bakersfield Bicycle Accident on South P Street
Bakersfield, California (November 17, 2019) – Andrew Gaudian, of Bakersfield, has been identified as the bicyclist who critically injured in an alleged hit-and-run accident earlier this month in Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Police, the crash took place at around 10:42 p.m. Sunday, November 3 in the 400 block of South P Street.
Authorities said Gaudian was riding his bicycle on South P Street when he was hit by a grey 2013 Dodge Charger whose driver fled the scene.
The Gaudian was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Marco Alatorre Arrested Following Hit-and-Run Accident in Bakersfield
On Saturday, November 16, police arrested Marco Alatorre, 23, in connection with the crash. The vehicle reportedly still had damage consistent with the collision.
An investigation into the accident is underway. Anyone with information about the crash is asked to call Bakersfield Police at 661-327-7111.
