Anaheim, California (December 6, 2019) – The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of a multi-vehicle accident that possibly resulted in unspecified injuries on Friday morning in Anaheim.

The three-vehicle collision happened on the northbound Orange (57) Freeway near the Katella Avenue off-ramp at about 4:45 a.m. December 6.

As per the CHP report, a big rig truck and two cars collided on the highway for reasons still under an active investigation.

Paramedics responded to the crash site to offer first aid treatment to those who might have been injured.

It was not clear the exact number of injured victims.

The crash resulted in the closure of three lanes of the highway until 5:30 a.m.
