Man Killed in Anaheim Pedestrian Accident at Harbor Boulevard and Katella Avenue
Anaheim, California (January 6, 2021) – A man was hit and killed by a suspected drunk driver on Wednesday morning in Anaheim, authorities said.
The deadly pedestrian accident happened at about 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of Harbor Boulevard and Katella Avenue.
According to the officials, a man in a security guard uniform was crossing the street when a white Astro van struck him. The van then crashed head-on into a palm tree.
First responders arrived at the scene and found the man down in a marked crosswalk.

The man sustained fatal injuries in the accident.
The involved driver, who was arrested, was hospitalized with minor injuries.
Traffic at the intersection was stopped for an unknown period due to the accident.
