Anaheim, California (July 9, 2021) – A man died after being struck by a vehicle Thursday night at an intersection in Anaheim.
The deadly crash took place in the area of Euclid Avenue and Sallie Lane at around 10:50 p.m.
A vehicle heading northbound on the highway reportedly struck a pedestrian while attempting to walk across Euclid Street on July 8.
As per the report, the intersection does not have marked crosswalks or traffic lights.
Anaheim police responded to the scene and found the pedestrian lying in the northbound lanes.
Fatal Anaheim Pedestrian Accident
The victim died at the hospital while undergoing treatment.
The involved motorist, who remained at the scene and cooperated with the law enforcers, was not believed to have been intoxicated at the crash time.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
