Man Dies in Anaheim Pedestrian Crash on Disneyland Drive near Katella Avenue
Anaheim, California (February 10, 2019) – A man was fatally hit by a vehicle driven by a suspected drunk driver late Saturday night in Anaheim.
According to the Anaheim Police Department, the crash happened at about 11 p.m. February 9 on Disneyland Drive north of Katella Avenue
Police said a driver jumped the curb, crashed into a pole and an electrical pole before striking the man.
The victim was transported to U.C. Irvine Medical Center, where he was pronounced deceased. The victim’s identity was not immediately released.
The woman driving the car involved was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI.
Anaheim police are investigating the crash.
