28-Year-Old Amanda Hinman Killed in Apple Valley Head-On Crash on Bear Valley Road
Apple Valley, California (April 16, 2019) – 28-year-old Amanda Hinman has been identified as a female passenger who was killed in a traffic accident involving three vehicles on Sunday afternoon in Apple Valley.
The multi-vehicle accident, which was reported at around 2:00 p.m. April 14, occurred on Bear Valley Road west of Deep Creek Road.
The authorities said a gray Toyota Sienna was traveling eastbound on Bear Valley Road when it crossed over into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a white Chevrolet Blazer. Due to the impact of the collision, the Sienna continued moving and struck a white Nissan Rogue in the westbound lanes.

Hinman was a passenger in the Toyota and was pronounced dead at the scene following the wreck.
The driver of the Toyota sustained severe injuries and was airlifted to Loma Linda University Medical Center for treatment.
The Chevrolet driver suffered minor injuries as a result of the accident and was transported to St. Mary Medical Center. The passengers in the Nissan also sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene of the accident.
An investigation into the crash is still ongoing.
