Amanda Canfield Injured in Piru Car Accident on Highway 126 near Center Street
Piru, California (April 26, 2019) – A Santa Clarita woman was identified as one of the five drivers who were injured in a car accident which killed a man in Piru on Thursday evening.
The accident was reported at about 5 p.m. April 25, on Highway 126 near Center Street.
According to a local news source, a man was driving a Saturn sedan when he crashed into the rear of Toyota.
At least four other vehicles were involved in the collision.
The authorities said the man who was driving the Saturn was killed in the accident. His identity was not immediately disclosed.
Fatal Piru Car Accident, April 25
38-year-old Amanda Canfield and the other four drivers were injured in the accident. The severity of the injuries sustained by the drivers was not immediately established.
No other information was provided.
An investigation to determine the cause of the accident is underway.
