Amador County, California (June 11, 2019) – At least one person was killed in a head-on collision on Monday afternoon in Amador County, according to the CHP.
The incident occurred just before 4 p.m. June 10, on Highway 49 near Electra Road.
CHP said a full-size truck and a small SUV were involved. One of the vehicles caught fire as a result of the collision.

At least one unidentified person died in the crash.
The crash closed Highway 49 near Electra Road as the scene was examined and cleared.
An investigation to determine the cause of the crash is ongoing.
