Compton, California (October 10, 2020) – Alvin Chacon, 22, of Compton, has been identified as the man who was killed in a two-vehicle accident on Saturday morning in Compton, authorities said.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the deadly crash transpired at about 4:00 a.m. near East 153rd Street and East Redondo Beach Boulevard.

The CHP said two vehicles collided near the intersection of East 153rd Street and East Redondo Beach Boulevard in unclear circumstances.

Sadly, Chacon, who was in one of the vehicles, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Further details regarding the accident were not immediately available.

The crash remains under investigation.
