Altamont Pass, California (January 24, 2019) – A motorist was killed in a traffic collision involving a big rig in Altamont Pass on Thursday morning.
According to a local news source, the accident occurred at about 8:30 a.m. on the southbound lanes of Interstate 205 Freeway near Interstate 580 Freeway.
The authorities said a pickup truck had been traveling on the roadway when it crashed into the rear of a big rig.
As per the report, the unidentified driver of the pickup truck was killed in the collision.
The driver of the big rig was not injured.
