1 Dies after Alpine Motorcycle Crash on Lyons Valley Road
Alpine, California (August 30, 2020) – One person was killed in a motorcycle crash on Sunday afternoon in Alpine, East County, authorities said.
The crash happened at about 1:40 p.m. on Lyons Valley Road.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the motorcyclist was thrown off the motorcycle and landed 20 to 50 feet down a dirt embankment. The factors that contributed to the accident are yet to be established.
