Alpine, CA: Motorcyclist Injured in Traffic Crash at Lyons Valley Road and Spirit Trail
Rider Airlifted after Alpine Motorcycle Accident at Lyons Valley Road and Spirit Trail
Alpine, California (May 31, 2021) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured in a collision with a vehicle Sunday afternoon at an intersection in Alpine, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Just before 1:00 p.m. Sunday, May 30, emergency personnel responded to the area of Lyons Valley Road and Spirit Trail, near the Rhino Ranch, in response to a call regarding a traffic collision.
According to the CHP, the motorcyclist collided with a pickup truck at the Alpine intersection in unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist was airlifted to the Sharp Memorial Hospital with major injuries. The name and current condition of the victim were not released.
The intersection of Lyons Valley Road and Spirit Trail was temporarily closed while the investigation took place.
