Alpine Car Accident on 8 Freeway Near Highway 79 Injures 4 Victims
Alpine, California (August 24, 2020) – Four people were injured after two vehicles collided Sunday morning in Alpine, San Diego County.
The traffic collision took place at approximately 11:08 a.m. on 8 Freeway near Highway 79.
As per the California Highway Patrol report, a Toyota van and a black Honda sedan crashed along the interstate for undetermined reasons.
Due to the impact, one of the involved vehicles overturned and landed on its roof.
The wreck left four people with unspecified injuries. All unidentified patients were then rushed to an area hospital for treatment.
The accident remains under an active investigation.
