Alpine, CA: 1 Injured in Semi-Truck Crash on 8 Freeway Thursday Morning
1 Hurt in 8 Freeway Car Accident at Tavern Road in Alpine
Alpine, California (July 23, 2020) – An SUV collided with a semi-truck Thursday morning on 8 Freeway in Alpine, leaving one person with minor injuries.
According to a report by the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred at about 9:47 a.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway at Tavern Road.
CHP said one motorist sustained minor injuries in the crash. Paramedics responded to the scene to help the victim. The report did not mention if the patient was hospitalized or not.
Debris from the crash was strewn all over traffic lanes.
An investigation is ongoing.
