Alfredo Salinas Hospitalized after Fatal DUI Crash on Visalia Road in Farmersville
Alfredo Salinas ID’d as Victim Injured in Farmersville Car Accident on Visalia Road near Road 176

Farmersville, California (July 1, 2020) – Alfredo Salinas of Lindsay has been identified as the passenger who was seriously injured in a wrong-way DUI crash that killed one person and left another hurt on Friday night in Farmersville, authorities said.
The deadly crash occurred at about 9:13 p.m., on June 26, on Visalia Road near Road 176. Visalia Road is also known as Avenue 280.
As per the police report, a 2013 Toyota Camry, driven by Lydia Salinas of Lindsay, was traveling eastbound on Visalia Road when it collided head-on with a 2001 Honda Civic that was driving on the wrong side of the road.
At the same time, a 2015 Toyota Tacoma, operated by Silvino Ortega of Exeter, was traveling eastbound on Visalia Road.
Ortega was unable to avoid the collision and unfortunately struck the Camry’s left rear, the officials said.
Alfredo Salinas Injured in Fatal Head-On Crash on Visalia Road in Farmersville
Lydia Salinas was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alfredo Salinas, who was a passenger in the Camry, sustained major injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia for treatment.
Lydia Salinas and Alfredo Salinas were not wearing seatbelts when the crash occurred.
The Honda driver, Delfino Santillan of Farmersville, was also transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center in Visalia with major injuries.
Santillan was under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for DUI.
Ortega was not injured in the accident.
The crash remains under investigation.
