Alfred Tiscareno Jr. Killed in Bicycle Accident on Whittier Boulevard near 605 Freeway in Whittier
Whittier, California (December 24, 2019) – 64-year-old Alfred Tiscareno Jr. has been identified as the man who was killed in a bicycle accident in Whittier on Monday evening.
According to a local news source, the accident happened at about 6:50 p.m. December 23, on Whittier Boulevard near San Gabriel River (605) Freeway.
The California Highway Patrol said Tiscareno was riding a bicycle in the area and was hit by a car driven by 69-year-old Rameshbhai L. Bhakta.
The bicyclist was killed in the accident.
Bhakta reportedly fled the scene initially before he stopped and contacted the authorities.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
