Alexander Clark Injured in Smith River Bicycle Accident on Highway 101 near Wilson Lane
Smith River, California (February 28, 2019) – The authorities have disclosed the identity of the bicyclist who was injured in a traffic collision in Smith River on Tuesday night, February 26.
The victim was identified as 24-year-old Alexander Clark of the United Kingdom.
The authorities said the accident happened on Highway 101 near Wilson Lane at an unspecified time.
As per the report, Clark had been riding his bicycle on the roadway when he was struck by a passing Caltrans truck.
Clark sustained major injuries including a ruptured kidney and was transported to Sutter Coast Hospital for treatment.
The authorities are still investigating the incident.
