Alberto Plata ID’d as Pedestrian Killed in Fontana Crash at Foothill Boulevard and Hemlock Avenue
Fontana, California (November 11, 2020) – The pedestrian who died after being struck by a vehicle Monday night at an intersection in Fontana has been identified as Alberto Plata, 43, of Oceanside.
The deadly crash occurred at about 7:33 p.m. Monday, November 9, at the intersection of Foothill Boulevard and Hemlock Avenue.
Plata was hit by a vehicle at the Fontana intersection in unclear circumstances, authorities said.

Sadly, Plata was pronounced dead at the scene at about 7:42 p.m.
More details about the accident were not immediately available.
The crash remains under investigation.
