Minor Injuries Sustained in Albany Car Crash on 580 Freeway and 80 Freeway Connector
Albany, California (July 29, 2021) – Minor injuries were sustained in a multi-car pileup that happened Wednesday night on a transition road in Albany, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident occurred at around 10:32 p.m. on the transition road from westbound 580 Freeway to westbound 80 Freeway.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision, as per the report.
Firefighters and paramedics responded to the scene to help the motorists.
The crash resulted in minor injuries to an unknown number of parties.
The report also said a two-vehicle hit-and-run crash with property damage only also happened at the same scene.
Authorities are investigating the collisions.
