Albany, California (March 28, 2021) – A rider sustained major injuries in a collision with a vehicle in Albany Saturday afternoon, March 27.

The major injury crash happened at about 12:30 p.m. on Interstate 80 (Eisenhower Freeway) near Gilman Street offramp.

As per the California Highway Patrol report, the motorcyclist rear-ended a white Toyota Corolla after splitting lanes while travelling west on the interstate.

Due to the impact, the Toyota possibly acquired a broken left rear axle damage and continued driving after the wreck.
