Alan Robinson ID’d as Man Killed in Linda Vista Pedestrian Accident on Linda Vista Road at Markham Street
Linda Vista, California (February 27, 2020) – The man who was struck and killed by a vehicle at an intersection in Linda Vista in December has been identified as Alan Bernard Robinson, 65, according to the Medical Examiner’s Office.
The fatal pedestrian accident took place just before 10:25 p.m. Saturday, December 7, in the 7600 block of Linda Vista Road at Markham Street, just north of Mesa College Drive.
According to San Diego police, Robinson was walking east along Linda Vista Road when he stepped into the roadway and was hit by a northbound Ford Escape SUV.

Robinson was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Ford, a 28-year-old man, was uninjured.
Police said alcohol and drugs were not believed to be factors in the crash. According to the report, Robinson was wearing dark clothing when he was hit by the vehicle.
