2 Hurt in Acampo Pedestrian Crash at Dustin Road and Collier Road
Acampo, California (April 23, 2019) – Two pedestrians were hospitalized after being involved in a traffic collision in Acampo Tuesday morning.
The accident, which was reported at approximately 5:52 a.m., occurred at North Dustin and East Collier roads.
The accident happened when two people standing behind a big rig were struck by another big rig for unknown reasons. It was not immediately known whether one of the wounded victims was the driver of the stopped big rig.
Two Men Injured in Acampo Pedestrian Crash
The two men sustained severe injuries following the accident. The victims were immediately transported to the hospital by the paramedics.
The driver who struck the two male parties stopped and cooperated with the authorities.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
