1 Hospitalized after 5 Freeway Car Accident near Del Paso Road in Sacramento
Sacramento, California (July 11, 2019) – One person was hospitalized after being involved in a multi-vehicle accident that happened Thursday morning in Sacramento, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The 5 Freeway car accident occurred at around 9:24 a.m. in the northbound lanes at Del Paso Road.
Officials said a white Chevrolet Silverado, a Toyota Camry and a third car were involved in the accident. The manner of the collision was not mentioned in the report.
At least one person was transported to Mercy General Hospital with the complaint of pain.
The vehicles were towed away from the collision scene.
An investigation into the collision is in progress.
