Patrick Custodio Killed in Motorcycle Accident on Highway 880 in Hayward
Patrick Custodio ID’d as Motorcyclist Killed in Hayward Crash on Interstate Highway 880 near Tennyson Road
Hayward, California (July 3, 2019) – Patrick Custodio, 27, of San Leandro, has been identified as the motorcyclist who was killed Wednesday morning in a traffic accident in Hayward.
The deadly accident happened at about 6:20 a.m. in the No. 3 southbound lane of Interstate 880 Freeway, just south of Tennyson Road.
The California Highway Patrol said it appears that Custodio was splitting lanes when he rear-ended a pickup truck.
Custodio was ejected from his motorcycle upon the impact and was hit by at least one vehicle. He died in the crash.

Custodio was pronounced dead at the scene.
It’s undetermined if speed was a factor in the collision, but drugs or alcohol are not suspected.
No other information was provided.
An investigation into the collision is underway.
