Injuries in Humboldt Car Crash on Highway 36 and Golden Gate Drive

Humboldt County, California (June 2, 2019) – A crash between two vehicles was reported on Saturday afternoon in Humboldt County, according to the CHP.
The wreck happened at about 3:52 p.m. June 1, on Highway 36 and Golden Gate Drive.
CHP said a sedan and a small pickup truck were involved in the crash.
Both vehicles were left with major front-end damage.
Injuries Reported in Humboldt Car Crash
There were reports of major injuries but the number of those hurt was unknown.
The crash caused a closure of westbound Highway 36 near mile marker 22.
An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
