Salinas, California (May 30, 2019) – Two persons were injured after a multi-car collision early Thursday morning in the area of Salinas, according to a California Highway Patrol.

The crash happened at around 5:28 a.m. Thursday, on northbound Highway 101 at John Street.

As per the CHP officials, four vehicles collided for reasons still under investigation.

Firefighters responded to the scene and attended to at least two parties injured in the crash. The victim’s names and their current condition were not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the crash.

The roadway was cleared as of 6:18 a.m.

No other details regarding this collision were provided.

An investigation is underway.
