Santa Rosa, California (May 29, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after a hit-and-run accident on Friday night in Santa Rosa, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The collision happened shortly after 10 p.m. May 24, on Highway 101 and College Avenue.
CHP said a Ford Mustang was traveling at a high rate of speed on Highway 101 when it slammed into a Ford Focus that was stopped at College Avenue.

The driver of the Mustang, a 17-year-old Santa Rosa man, fled the scene after the incident.
Police later located the teen and arrested him on suspicion of felony evading and felony hit-and-run.
The driver of the Focus, Andrew Giganti, 23, of Santa Rosa, was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.
The crash is under investigation.
