2 Injured in 2-Car Accident on Interstate Highway 280 in San Francisco
2 Hospitalized after San Francisco Crash on Interstate Highway 280 near Monterey Boulevard Off-Ramp

San Francisco, California (May 28, 2019) – Two people were injured Tuesday afternoon in a traffic accident in San Francisco, the California Highway Patrol said.
The accident was reported at about 1:00 p.m. on the Monterey Boulevard off-ramp from southbound Interstate Highway 280.
According to the CHP, a Toyota van and a MINI Cooper were involved in the wreck.

Firefighters responded to the scene and extricated one person who was trapped inside their vehicle. One patient sustained major injuries and was transported to a hospital.
Another victim was also taken to the hospital and is currently in stable condition.
The off-ramp was shut down as crews worked at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
