At Least 1 Injured in Petaluma Car Crash on Highway 101 and Lakeville Highway

Petaluma, California (May 24, 2019) – At least one person was injured after a two-vehicle crash late Friday morning in the area of Petaluma, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at around 11:50 a.m. Friday, May 24, on southbound Highway 101, near Lakeville Highway.
As per the report, two vehicles including a garbage truck crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least one person who complained of pain as a result of the collision. The name of the patient and their current condition was not immediately known.
Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.
Authorities closed the lanes to give way to a clearing operation and an on-scene investigation.
