19-Year-Old Diego Castillo Hurt in Fatal Norwalk Crash on Rosecrans Boulevard
Norwalk, California (May 16, 2019) – Diego Castillo, 19, was among two people hospitalized following a deadly collision that left one person dead and another in custody on Monday afternoon in Norwalk.
According to a local news source, the crash occurred on Monday, May 13, on Rosecrans Boulevard near Elaine Avenue.
The authorities said an SUV traveling on Rosecrans Boulevard lost control and slammed into a tow truck near the intersection. The SUV reportedly flipped multiple times before coming to a rest on its roof.
Diego Castillo Among 2 Injured in Norwalk Crash
Castillo was among the three passengers in the SUV. Castillo and one passenger were hospitalized with major injuries. A third passenger died in the collision.
The driver of the SUV was arrested on suspicion of reckless driving and impairment.
Police are investigating the collision.
