Visalia, California (May 13, 2019) –12-year-old Nicholas Herrera has been identified as one of the victims killed in a car accident in Visalia, Tulare County, on Monday morning, according to Tulare County Sheriff’s Office.
The fatal crash occurred shortly before 8 a.m. May 12, on Highway 63 and Avenue 336.
The California Highway Patrol report indicated that the crash involved two cars and semi-truck. The precise circumstances that lead to the occurrence of the fatal accident are still under an active investigation. Due to the impact of the collision, the two cars ended up trapped underneath the 18-wheeler. The collision also caused fuel to leak into the roadways.
