Placerville, California (May 12, 2019) – A motorcyclist was seriously injured Saturday morning in a traffic accident in Placerville, according to a local news source.

The major crash was reported at about 5:47 a.m. Saturday, May 11 at the intersection of Snows Road and Treasure Rock Lane.

According to the California Highway Patrol, a motorcycle collided with a sedan for an undetermined at the intersection.

The motorcyclist was treated at the scene by responding paramedics before being transported to a hospital with major injuries. The name and condition of the victim at this time were not disclosed.

It was immediately unclear if the driver of the vehicle involved was injured in the wreck or if that driver remained at the scene after the crash.
