Motorcyclist Severely Injured in Desert Hot Springs Traffic Accident at Camino Aventura and Via Vista Avenues
Desert Hot Springs, California (May 3, 2019) – A motorcyclist sustained significant injuries in a traffic collision that involved a car in Desert Hot Springs Thursday evening.
The motorcycle accident was reported shortly after 6:00 p.m. May 2, at the intersection of Camino Aventura and Via Vista Avenues, near Palm Drive.
The California Highway Patrol report indicated that a 2004 Dodge Stratus collided with the motorbike at the intersection for reasons still under investigation.
The motorcyclist sustained severe injuries following the accident. The victim was immediately rushed to the hospital by the paramedics along with the fire department officials for treatment of wrist injuries. The current condition and the identity of the injured party have not yet disclosed.
It was not clear whether or not the driver of the involved Dodge stopped after the crash and cooperated with the officials.
The accident is still under an active investigation.
