Motorcyclist Killed in San Francisco Accident on Harrison Street and Fremont Street
San Francisco, California (May 1, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed after crashing into a truck on Tuesday morning in San Francisco, according to California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported at around 7:35 a.m. April 30, on Harrison Street and Fremont Street.
Police said the motorcyclist was riding westbound at a high rate of speed on Interstate 80 near Treasure Island when a motorcycle officer tried to stop him. The officer signaled to the motorcyclist to stop, but he sped off from the slow lane to the fast lane, going through five lanes of traffic and collided with the box truck.

The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
No further information about the crash was immediately released.
