Man Killed in Vista Pedestrian Accident on State Route 78 near Melrose Drive
Vista, California (May 1, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by two vehicles Tuesday night in Vista, according to a local news source.
The deadly accident happened at about 8:20 p.m. Tuesday, April 30 on State Route 78 near Melrose Drive.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the man, approximately 30 years old, was hit by two vehicles while he was attempting to cross the westbound lanes of state Route 78.

The man was transported to Palomar Medical Center, where he later succumbed his injuries. His name has not been disclosed pending notification of family.
The accident remains under investigation.
