Man Killed in Murrieta Motorcycle Crash on 215 Freeway

Murrieta, California (April 29, 2019) – A man was killed in a collision involving a vehicle and a motorcycle early Saturday morning in Murrieta, according to the CHP.
The wreck happened at about 4:27 a.m. April 27 on the 215 Freeway, just south of Scott Road.
CHP said the rider was driving a 2001 Honda CBR northbound on the freeway when, for unknown reasons, he lost control of the bike and was ejected onto the roadway. He was then ran over by a 2012 Volkswagen.

The rider died in the collision.
No other injuries were reported.
