Boy Dies in Hesperia Pedestrian Crash near Manzanita Street
Hesperia, California (April 24, 2019) – A boy was hit and killed by a vehicle at a private driveway in Hesperia on Tuesday afternoon, according to the authorities.
The crash was reported at about 4:50 p.m. April 23, in the 16000 block of Manzanita Street.
Police said a family was preparing to leave and as the driver exited the property, the vehicle struck a child who was out of view.

Emergency crews responded to the incident and attempted live-saving measures on the child. He was then rushed to Desert Valley Hospital, where the boy sadly succumbed to his injuries.
The identity of the deceased victim was not immediately released.
The Hesperia Police Department is investigating the incident.
