Motorcyclist Killed in Traffic Accident on Highway 101 in San Mateo County
34-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in San Mateo County Crash on Highway 101 near Willow Road Off-Ramp
San Mateo County, California (April 20, 2019) – A motorcyclist was killed early Saturday morning in a traffic crash in San Mateo County, according to authorities.
The tragic accident happened at about 3:30 a.m. on Highway 101, just south of the Willow Road exit, near the border between Menlo Park and East Palo Alto.
According to California Highway Patrol, a Jeep SUV collided with the motorcyclist for an undetermined reason on Highway 101. The SUV and the motorcycle sustained bad damages following the collision.

The 34-year-old motorcyclist, who has not been identified pending notification of next of kin, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 35-year-old San Jose man, who was the driver of the Jeep, was unhurt in the accident. He complied with the investigators.
Authorities closed all northbound lanes of Highway 101 as they investigated the crash. Neither drugs nor alcohol was suspected factors in the collision.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
