Pedestrian Killed in Kern County Train Accident on Garces Circle Bridge
Kern County, California (April 20, 2019) – A man was struck and killed by a train on Friday afternoon in Kern County, according to the Kern County Sheriff’s Department.
The crash happened at about 1:30 p.m. April 19, on Garces Circle Bridge.
Deputies said the man was hit by the Union Pacific train near milepost 311.

The victim sustained major injuries and was rushed to Kern Medical, where he was pronounced deceased.
No one on the train was injured.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the collision.
