At Least 2 Hospitalized after Lakeside Accident on 8 Freeway near Los Coches Road
Lakeside, California (April 19, 2019) – At least two people were injured after a two-vehicle crash Friday morning in the area of Lakeside, according to a California Highway Patrol report.
The crash happened at around 8:16 a.m. Friday, on 8 Freeway, east of Los Coches Road.
As per the dispatch, a cement truck and a sedan crashed for unknown reasons.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to at least two persons who complained of pain as a result of the crash. Two parties were transported to Sharp Grossmont Hospital in La Mesa for treatment of minor injuries.
The name of the victims and their current condition were not immediately known.
The vehicles were blocking the lanes following the crash.
No other details regarding this incident were released.
An investigation is ongoing.
