Taft, California (April 19, 2019) – 48-year-old Luis Figueroa Topete has been identified as the man who was killed in a traffic collision in Taft Thursday morning, according to coroner’s officials.
The fatal accident, which was reported just before 7:25 a.m. April 18, occurred on Gardner Field Road, south of Southlake Road.
The accident happened when Topete’s car crashed with another vehicle for reasons still under investigation.
