Canyon Country, California (April 19, 2019) – Three people were hospitalized early Thursday morning after a multi-car accident in Canyon Country, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The wreck was reported at around 12:20 a.m. Thursday, April 18 on the northbound 14 Freeway, just north of Via Princessa.

The CHP said the crash involved four vehicles. Details on how the collision happened were not immediately available.

Three people were taken to Henry Mayo Hospital with moderate to major injuries. The names and current condition of the victims were not immediately provided.

The crash caused the closure of all lanes of the freeway. As of 1:15 a.m. the highway was reopened.

An investigation into the crash is underway.
