Santa Rosa, California (April 18, 2019) – Two persons were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in the area of Santa Rosa, according to a California Highway Patrol report.

The crash happened at around 7:27 a.m. Thursday, on southbound Highway 101 near Hearn Avenue on-ramp.

As per the report, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the injured parties. Two persons were transported to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

The names of the victims and their current condition were not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

Officials blocked lane 1 following the crash. All lanes were opened as of 7:46 a.m.
