Oxnard, California (April 9, 2019) – Three people were injured in a multi-vehicle accident that took place in Oxnard on Monday night, according to the authorities.

The wreck happened at about 7:30 p.m. April 8, in the 5500 block of Vineyard Avenue north of Central Avenue near El Liro.

At Least 1 Trapped after Oxnard Multi-Vehicle Accident

According to the firefighters, three vehicles were involved in the crash. One person was trapped in the wreckage and was extricated by the fire crews.

Three people were transported to area hospitals for treatment. There was no update on the conditions of the patients.

The crash caused a closure of Vineyard Avenue but it was reopened just before 9:50 p.m.
