San Jose, California (April 6, 2019) – Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle crash Saturday morning in the area of San Jose, according to authorities.

The crash happened at around 6:13 a.m. Saturday, on southbound 87 Freeway, just north of Almaden Expressway off-ramp.

As per the CHP officials, two vehicles crashed for reasons still under investigation.

An ambulance was sent to the scene to attend to the crash victims. The number of patients and their current condition was not immediately known.

Tow trucks were requested to remove the vehicles from the crash site.

The vehicles were blocking lanes 1, 2 and 3 following the crash. All lanes were opened as of 6:35 a.m.

No additional information concerning this incident was provided.

An investigation is underway.
