Leicia Wright Injured in Deadly Chico Crash on Highway 99 near Gaia Way
Chico, California (March 28, 2019) – 41-year-old Leicia Wright of Red Bluff was identified as one of the two people injured in a Chico accident that left one other person dead on Monday afternoon, as per a local news source.
The fatal crash took place about 12:30 p.m. March 25, on Highway 99 in the area of Gaia Way.
Police said a 2009 Honda Civic driven by Wright was traveling northbound on Highway 99 when he lost control of the vehicle, entered into the path of oncoming traffic and collided head-on with a 2001 Toyota 4Runner.

Wright and the driver of the Toyota sustained minor injuries. They were both taken to Enloe Medical Center for treatment. A passenger in the Civic died at the scene as a result of the crash.
The cause of the collision is still under investigation.
