12-Year-Old Boy Hospitalized after Fort Bragg Bicycle Crash on Oak and North Harold Streets

Fort Bragg, California (March 22, 2019) – A boy riding a bicycle was struck and injured by a vehicle at an intersection in Fort Bragg on Monday morning, according to the Fort Bragg Police Department.
The incident was reported at about 7:48 a.m. March 18 at Oak and North Harold Streets.
Police said a 12-year-old boy on a bike entered into the path of a vehicle traveling through the intersection and was hit.

The victim was wearing a helmet and was rushed to Mendocino Coast District Hospital with a broken wrist and ankle. He was reportedly treated and released.
The driver of the vehicle involved, identified as Edward Dowling, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigators.
