34-Year-Old Eddie Lustro ID’d as Rider Killed in Palm Springs Motorcycle Accident on Gene Autry Trail
Palm Spring, California (March 19, 2019) – 34-year-old Eddie Lustro has been identified as the motorcycle rider who was struck and killed by a vehicle in Palm Springs Monday morning, according to the authorities.
The collision occurred at around 8:33 a.m. March 18, along South Gene Autry Trail.
The crash occurred when a Honda sedan and a motorcycle were both heading south on Gene Autry and collided at Dinah Shore Drive. The driver’s side of the Honda was crashed by the impact.
Eddie Lustro Killed in Palm Springs Motorcycle Accident
The motorcyclist, identified as Lustro from Rancho Mirage, was pronounced dead in the wreck. The driver of the Honda stopped and cooperated with the authorities.
As per the report, drugs or alcohol were not factors in the accident.
The collision resulted in closure of Gene Autry between Mesquite Avenue and Seven Lakes Boulevard for several hours as police continued with investigation.
The investigation is ongoing.
