Man Hospitalized after Fresno Pedestrian Accident at Olive and Blackstone Avenues
Fresno, California (March 18, 2019) – A man was hospitalized after an accident where he was hit by a vehicle at an intersection in Fresno on Sunday night, according to the Fresno Police Department.
The incident happened shortly before 9 p.m. March 17 at Olive and Blackstone avenues.
Police said a truck traveling eastbound on Olive Avenue drifted sideways and slammed into a light pole at the intersection of Blackstone Avenue. The vehicle reportedly struck and pinned a pedestrian against the pole.
Man Hospitalized after Fresno Pedestrian Accident
The victim, a man in his 30s, was rushed to Community Regional Medical Center with severe leg injuries.
No one in the truck was hurt in the crash.
Fresno police are investigating the incident.
